“The group has a swinging, soulful sound and the ability to work grooves with cool precision…there’s a bit of McCoy Tyner in Antonio Flinta’s attack and a touch of Bill Evans in his improvisations…This trio takes its cues from the wide mainstream of American Jazz piano but add their own distinctive energy to the sound”     Cadence Magazine (USA).

Hopit S.W. is a bluesy and happy medium swing. Welcome a song dedicated to my daughter Alice when she was about to be born. What are you doing the rest of your life is a beautiful ballad by french composer Michel Legrand. Tree and Figure is a song built on a unique five note motif, and inspired by the dramatic real story of a mother and her two children, and the difficult choice she has to make. Paco, Paquito y Pablo is my personal homage to three Spaniards I admire: Paco de Lucia, Paquito Esplá and Pablo Picasso. Raindrops is a ballad, Shoreward a song in 5/4 with free parts, Tuesdsay Evening a bossa and Taking Off a blues.

Personnel: Antonio Flinta piano, Roberto Bucci bass, Claudio Gioannini drums
