Digital release of our very first trio album The Meeting, recorded live at Gregory’s Jazz Club in Rome on October 2000.
In the late 90’s and early 2000’s, we played regularly in many jazz clubs in Rome, and I must say Gregory’s was one of my favorites. Very close to Piazza di Spagna and in the same street of the Monster door of Palazzo Zuccari, the place was always packed and full of jazz lovers. To play there has always been inspiring.
Three standards (Body and Soul, Joe Henderson’s Recordame and Charlie Parker’s Confirmation) and two originals, all remastered for this occasion and now available on all digital platforms. Liner notes of the album here, cover art here.
